This is a great book for 1300-1700 players (and beyond) who want to practice their visualization skills using real positions from real games. the exercises get longer as you progress through each chapter. A chapter might start out with a 3-move visualization exercise, then move on to 4-move exercises, then 5-move exercises, then 6 moves, etc. So each chapter, each theme, has that progression. So you can work on stretching ur visualization skills by using the 800 exercises that are in the book. There are some sample exercises on the publisher's chessvisualization website that give you an idea of the simpler exercises, and they supposedly are working on Book 2 that covers the Kingside attack, but Book 1 on General Tactics definitely addressed a weakness in my game and is helping me overcome it.
